God is enough
from the Seeker bible study ( bible study with my Christian fellowship)John 20:1-31 basically talks about the end of doubt;
Jesus' whole ministry and purpose on earth was in doubt and seemed like a lost cause after his death. However, He returned and gave peace to His disciples. Moreover, His resurrection meant that we now have a direct relationship with him and more importantly with our Father (v17).
John20:30-31 emphasized on the 2 main characteristics of a true disciples.
30Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may[a] believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
believing is not enough...
having life in his name means having Eternal Life...
Eternal life doesn't begin at the end of one's life, it starts the second you give your life to Him and Eternal life means knowing Him. Hence, having a relationship with him.
